7th Pay Commission recommendations likely this year, Jaitley informs to Lok Sabha

The recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission(7thcpc) on pay revision of the central government employees is expected to be submitted to the government this year, the Lok Sabha was today informed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

The MMS led UPA government formed the Seventh Pay Commission on 28 February 2014 under chairman justice Ashok Kumar Mathur with a timeline of 18 months to make its recommendations. According to present position, the commission will take at least 20-24 months.

7th Pay Commission Vacancy,Pay scales Circular Temporary posts MOF

Temporary posts have been created by Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure for a period of 18 months from the date of constitution of the Commission or till closure of the Commission whichever is earlier. In addition to the pay scales, the posts will carry all other usual allowances as admissible in terms of orders and instructions in force on the subject as issued by the Government of India from time to time. These posts have to be filled up only on deputation basis
