AICPIN for the month of May 2022 released–  calculate Expected DA from July 2022 

Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers – CPI-IW published All India Consumer Price Index for May 2022. AICPIN data is used to calculate Dearness allowance for Central Government Employees and IDA for CPSU Employees. All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (BY 2016=100) for the month of May 2022 released by the Labour Bureau on 30.06.2022 (Thursday), the last working day of May month, by Labour Bureau, under Ministry of Labour and Employment.. The All-India CPI-IW for May, 2022 increased by 1.3 point and pegged at 129 (One hundred twenty-nine). Based on AICPIN for May 2022 we can calculate estimated DA or IDA from July 2022 ( calculate here) more accurately.

The AICPIN is very very important for employees working in central government, state government, CPSE, PSU, Banks, Defence forces Army, Navy, IAF, others etc, as the rate of dearness allowances are decided by it.
