AICPIN for the month of April 2022 released–  calculate Expected DA from July 2022 

Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers – CPI-IW published All India Consumer Price Index for April 2022. AICPIN data is used to calculate Dearness allowance for Central Government Employees and IDA for CPSU Employees. All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (BY 2016=100) for the month of April2022 released by the Labour Bureau on 31.05.2022 (Tuesday), the last working day of May month, by Labour Bureau, under Ministry of Labour and Employment.. The All-India CPI-IW for April, 2022 increased by 1.7 point and pegged at 127.7 (One hundred twenty-seven point seven). Based on AICPIN for April2022 we can calculate estimated DA or IDA from July 2022 ( calculate here) more accurately.

The AICPIN is very very important for employees working in central government, state government, CPSE, PSU, Banks, Defence forces Army, Navy, IAF, others etc, as the rate of dearness allowances are decided by it.
