retirement
retiring the employees who have completed 33 years is good decision. For the remaining years of service of this employees up to the age of 60 years, they should pay 2 months salary(golden hand shake) for each year service left in addition to normal pension and gratuity benefits. This way employees also will be happy. Also most of the money paid by government towards this retirement benefits will be used by employees to repay their outstanding housing loans etc. And most of them will be PSU banks, hence govt will get back the money.
Good or Bad ?
The basic concept behind lowering the retirement age is not only to create job opportunity for younger generation but the person should be forced to invent him/her self creatively for the second inning on the basis of experience gained. At the same time it will force you to keep adding value in yourself to prove your caliber as an entrepreneur or employability in private sector. However the payments to employee should be adequate and at par with private sectorand VRS option should be available at least after 20 years of service.
RETIREMENT AGE BENEFIT
i) The Uniform age of superannuation of all CAPFS i.e BSF,CRPF,SSB, CISF, ITBP & AR should be 60 years instead of 57 years as recommended by chairman and one member of 7th CPC.
ii) If it is considered to enhance the retirement age to 60 years, All the CAPFs will be benefited with the vast field experience of senior most serving members in age and the incident like massacre of 75 CRPF personnel in Dantiwara(Chhatishgarh) may be avoided.
iii) It will also minimize the ex-chequer to the Govt. by enhancing retirement age from 57 to 60 years.
iv) Besides above, The CAPFs may be benefitted by utilizing aged and experienced personnel to boost administrative back up of the forces which is very essential and back bone of the operational activities.
v) The minimum pay should be Rs. 30,000/- instead of Rs. 18,000/- and it must be increased by 3.5 times keeping in view of current high price of market.
vi) All the filed allowances should be increased by 2.5 times at par with Army and other allowances be doubled.
vii) Recommendation of 7th CPC have totally ignored field service conditions of the CAPF personnel and considered at par with civil employees who perform only 8 hours duty in a day and remain always with their families at home without any life risk. Hence pay of CAPF pers should be at par with ARMY personnel as CAPF also participates in operations during hostility as well as during peace time with enemy ahead of Army deployment at international boundary/LOC.
Retirement age
Retirement age should be 62 years, as everywhere teachers, scientists retirement age is 62 years than why not for administrative staff of central govt. also every time govt servant should not be focussed. As there are many many other sectors for employment not only govt offices.
Experience and Retirement
The rumours about the decreasing working span to 33 is ridiculous.. as people who have been working here have earned their employment.. and if the question arises that in favour of the youth then let me tell that if they will be capable they will make their own way..they don't need these things to get in..
And by the way the people who are working here too have a family, future and career and they are much experienced than the new ones. so, rumours should not be spread just for creating panic amongst people..
retirement age
The retirement age of employees should be 58 years and if not completed 33 years of service it should be 60 years and only these two option must be exercised. If earlier option is exercised of 33 years of service that may be worst decision. than you.
The decision of retiring of
The decision of retiring of central government employees in the age of 60 years or 33 years years of service is a very good decision because crores of youth are unemployeed and I am also unemployeed since 8 years so my decision is that the government have to take such strict decision to give employment to generation.so this is the better decision to retire the cg employees in the 33 years of service or 60 years of age.
retirement before scheduled date
The decision of 33 or 60 may not effect on government employees who will get pensiion but there are number of public sector undertaking in centre as well as in states where no pension system is their, they will have to survive on PF and gratuity. If the said formula is adopted, workers of such public sector undertaking may severely & badly affected. The Government shuld think to apply this policy on new recruitment because they will have a future plicture in front of them and act accordingly. But accidently this type of decision may put the middle class person in meagre position.
retirement.
If true 31 yrs retirement is very good. Pave way for employment of youths and promotion avenues. In the paramilitary people are leaving en masse after 20 yrs service
Good step. I agree.
Good step. I agree.
this opinion is foolish and
this opinion is foolish and frustrated, according to me the age of retirement should be 62 years ..
33years of qualifying service rather than 60 years of age
It is very very good decision of the government if retirement is made after qualifying service of 33 years of service rather than awaiting 60 years of age as it will make India a nation to proud for development. In many offices the date of birth of some official are altered for lengtheening their service period in exchange of money. Though actually officials have crossed 70 years but in the service record they yet to attain 50 year. Young brain is better than old and in useful brain so good decision making policy will be there in govt offices . moreover lakhs of unemployed youths will be benefitted from this excellent decision. Keep aside those family problems as pension money will solve those problems.
Shocking!! 33years Age Retirement Plse don't Pass this Bill ..
Hai I saw this news about 33years age retirement. When I saw Really I shock why mean In my family completely depend on my father only. While we r middle range person we didn't have anyother family relationships like grandfather etc member. One man this is my Father only take care to my family. We still are studying now . Every Parent knw how much to spend mny. Plse don't pass this 33years age retirement bill.. Jai IN , I am from Bsp
lower retirement age
Lower retirement age is very very good option especially for those who employed in paramilitary force like border security force as constable because the No.1 in suicide cases in overall places in armed forces as theconstable is in always harrashment by the superior officers . in this trend the lower retirement age like vrs is very good option due to the low salary and the very low facility and opportunity to get some other work in lower age and also freed from bsf like paramilitary force so I humbly request pay commission to lower our service in the view of humanity please
Retirement age
Compulsory retirement after 33 years of service OR on reaching 65 years of age?
Would be beneficial to all employees irrespective of their joining in late, either due to stringent and lengthy recruitment process or pursuing academic endeavors in higher education. It also appears that highly educated peoples usually come in late for joining to a job, even deployed to a far more inferior category jobs than for which he deserve actually.
Therefore, the employees joined in late can not be deprived from their usual period of 33 years of service. So upper limit should be 65 years to compensate the length-of-service (33 years) equally to all the employees. Thereby more rational and secured decision to be established for the foreseeable future. Nonetheless, younger generations will get a good chance to perform and to act with a digital vision.
Several explanations are due in this regard to explain the above statement and upper limit must be 65 years, as average expectancy of life have become very high, when compare to earlier century.
INCREASE THE RETIREMENT AGE TO 65
INCREASE THE RETIREMENT AGE ,LIFE EXPECTANCY HAS INCREASED EVERYONE WANTS AN INCREASE BUT THE GOVT IS PLAYING NO HEED TO CENTRAL GOVT EMPLOYEES VIEWZ .................WILL IT BE AWAKE FROM SLEEP
33 years
33years of qualifying service is good decision. Because it help cores of unemployed youth. More over now the cg employees who are completed 33 years of qualifying service are sound in wealth they don’t need 60yrs of retirement age. It’s very good decision by NDA Govt.
33 years is VERY VERY BAD
33 years is VERY VERY BAD proposal, Govt. should never vacate any post by forcefully retiring any serving employee. This is not the way of Giving employment. That means Govt. is incapable of creating new jobs and vacancies, new Industries or farms. Govt. may have to keep this in mind that, at the age of 18 year, a man is adult, and the vacancies are there starting from age 18 years of age. So, early employment should never be a cause of early retirement. This should never be a cause of retirement. Moreover, Experience is always required for Best output. More experienced the employee, the better output, they can give. Retirement age should be increased to 62 years.
Moreover who joins under New Pension Scheme will not get any monthly assured Pension or D.A., which is so much harmful for their family survival also.

Enhancement of Retirement age to 62-65 years
Dear Readers ,
This is a debatable issue that needs deep thinking and wise planning before its formulation. Why India has not acquired the status of Super power countries of the world? India is the second largest country in the world with Human Resources. but it has not been able to impart 100% literacy to its masses. Education is the most powerful weapon which one can use to change the world. If there is no retirement age for the politician for ruling the government then why should there be retirement age for TEACHERS-who are the builders of the nation? Teaching is the only profession that teaches all the professions.
The teachers are considered the backbone of the Nation only in theory & in lip service.
Why no heed is paid by the 7th plan commission to give them an edge to empower 100% literacy? It is the teaching fraternity that sets the G-next on a rock to give a firm place to them to stand on in later life. I want to hammer my point here that teaching is the only profession that teaches all the professions. As a proud teacher of KVS--The most prestigious organisation in imparting education to the children not only at national level but at international level too. We Kvian teachers are not in the Government jobs for the income. We are serving the nation for the outcome of 100% literacy to the floating population of
our country like the Armed Forces .
As children are the world's most valuable resource and the Nation' s best hope for the future allow passionate teachers to serve as long as they can. If the seasoned teachers retire then the government has no investment in the Future.
I want government to conduct a survey to know as to how many children want to become a TEACHER. The dismal result will definitely give food for thought and consider a review of the age of retirement in the 7th Plan
I agree with you sir as I
I agree with you sir as I myself was a student of KV, but you still have to agree that there are many teachers even in KV who are not upto the level themselves and cannot clear doubts of JEE question thereby forcing students to join coaching classes, and many times force them to join own tuition classes, the salary of teachers should also increase to the level of university lecturers but only for teachers who can clear the questions that we as student have to clear in competitive exams, and that is only when talented students will decide to join teaching profession.
retirement age of central government
In our country unemployed youth having good qualification are sitting idle due to no jobs in government sectors . Retirement age should be 60/58 or 33 years whichever earlier must be followed in 7pc without fail.
Retirement age of all Govt.
Retirement age of all Govt. as well as Public Sector employees should be increased to 62 years, particularly for those, who is now under NPS scheme. Because they will not get any assured monthly pension or D.A. after retirement as per market Price high inflation index. Also assured Monthly Family Pension (based on employees last basic pay) along with Dearness Allowance, as applicable, should be given, for all the NPS scheme employees, for their family survival.
ITS NOT A GOOD DECISION. ITS
ITS NOT A GOOD DECISION. ITS VERY DISAPPOINTED.
55years age or 30 years
55years age or 30 years service would be good decision for the development of the country. Most employees after 50 years won't and can't work. In 30 years of service they enjoyed lot of benefits. Where as many unemployed starving for day. Government should forcefully retire after 55 years or 30 years service
Retirement after 33 yrs of
Retirement after 33 yrs of service is a good proposal. Old people often says that they cannot adapt with new technologies. Let young people come in to the system.
Retirement after33 years of
Retirement after33 years of service is a good suggestion. Implement it.
Benefits of retirement
It's very demanding issue that 33 yrs service or 60 yrs of age which ever is earlier best option for retirement this decision not only create jobs but more than it provide opportunity to junior for promotion avenue and speed up of all govt departments
Retirement Age
There are many who entering in service at the minimum required age and qualification for lower most post and serves for more than 40 years. He enjoys service and takes chance during service to acquire higher qualification for higher promotion. Such type of opportunity is not available for every citizen. But a person enters in Govt. service after acquiring requisite higher qualification of the job, serves only about 30 years due to cut off age. this is a big discrimination in case of qualified person. So bar for retirement is essential, this is also for availability chance for Yong generations to enter in govt. service.
7th CPC RETIREMENT AGE- REG
SIR,
I GENERALLY RECOMMENDED THE AGE OF VOLUNTARY RETD IS 20 YRS OF SERVICE AND SUPERANNUATION IS 33 YRS OF SERVICE BECAUSE THE SOLDIERS PARTICULARLY BORDER DEPLOYED PERSONS I.E. BSF, SSB, ITBP, AR WERE PERFORMED HARD DUTIES AND THEY ARE FACED PHYSICAL DISTURBS.
IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED REASONS, KINDLY PERMIT THE AGES OF VOLUNTARY AND SUPERANNUATION OF SERVICES OF BSF, ITBP, SSB & AR ARE 20 YRS & 33 YRS OF SERVICES RESPECTIVELY.
PLEASE MENTIONED THE POINTS AS MENTIONED ABOVE, WHILE PREPARING THE FINAL 7TH CPC REPORT OF AGE LIMITS OF RETD SERVICES. PLEASE SAVE THE SOLDIERS LIFE.
Central Government Finance
Central Government Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley would not like to implement 7th pay commission for central government employees as he thinks that which amount government will be spent for paying the employees, will come from his father's property.
Govt. will not do any
Govt. will not do any unpopular thing like review of retirement age or review of reservation policy i.e who need reservation e.t.c
according to retierment age
i am totally unsatisfied this recommendations the age of 60 should be good but the age of 33 or 60 not to be good for us
RETIREMENT AGE 33 YERAS OF SERVICE OR 60 YEARS OF AGE
This is the golden opportunity with present govt to implement this decision. This decision will affect in following areas:-
(a) It will create a lot of employment opportunities for unemployeed youths of India.
(b) It will help to make in India as new generation will get jobs and avoid to divert their mind from bad habits of the societies.
(c) Govt will fulfull their agenda points/ vows to give employment to youths.
If this decision is implemented by Govt, it will be the age of transmission in the history of India.
retirement after 30 yrs
Its a wrong decision. A person working hard for so many years gets the real benefits of good salary in the final years of service. They will be snatched from them. Ye unke saath dhokahai. I strongly condemn this decision.
7cpc
it is wrong decision
retirement age
retirement age should not be linked to service period as who enters earlier will retire earlier .moreover who joined at lower cadre is going to reap maximum salaries of his service in those last seven years or so....moreover with higher responsibilities of family at that age period.so i personally feel that retirement age should be fixed to 60 yrs.It is not his mistake if he gets job at right time of his age...changing criteria will be a curse for him .
thanx

33 YEARS FOR RETIREMENT OF THE CENTRAL GOVT. EMP. IS FULLY WRITE. BECAUSE THERE ARE LAKS OF GRADUATE CANDIDATE ARE IN INDIA. THEY HAVE GOOD KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE. BUT DUE TO CAPTURING OF POST IN CENTRAL GOVT. BY OLD EMPLY. THE YOUNG CAN NOT TAKE UP THEIR FUTURE. NOW A DAYS INDINA WANTS YOUNG QUALIFIED CANDIDTE. TODAY IS TECHNOLOGICAL AGE AND COMPUTERIES. SO FOR GOOD SERVICE AND GOOD WORK 33 YEARS FOR RETIREMENT IS NECESSARY.
regarding superannuation
This is definitely not bad decision to retire govt. employee after completion of 33 yrs service because first of all, crores of unemployed youth will get job and those employee who will retire after 33 yrs service they may engage in private sector in addition to their pension on the basis of their great experience. After retirement they will get a good amount at a time and also will get monthly pension as per old pension scheme. So, it is not loss for them. But what about our country's unemployed condition. How people will fight with the present scarcity, the govt should consider the fact. Every human being have right to live well whether he is govt employee or not. so, better think about future and present condition of our country.
Thank you,
